The need for an Administration Company was initially born from the acquisitions of existing debtors factoring companies by TFS and the decision to allow these companies to continue trading with their own names and with their own brands.
The directors of TFS realised that the administrative efficiencies that existed in one entity were not present in another and it came as a logical conclusion that if these entities were to continue to trade independently, a shared administrative hub was required in order to share efficiencies amongst the debtor financing entities now included in the TFS Group of Companies.
During its dealings in the debtors factoring industry in SSA and through further acquisitions by TFS, it became evident that a real need exists amongst independent debtors factoring companies in the area to have access to skilled staff, proper risk management processes and, most importantly, a robust MIS in order to manage their debtors book successfully.
Knowing that all these skills and systems come at a significant cost, beyond what most of these companies can afford, TCA devised mechanisms that will allow the company to market itself as a debtors factoring administrator for independent debtors factoring companies in SSA.
As a result of the potential size of investments in debtors financing companies within the TFS Group and the establishment of Special Purpose Vehicles (“SPV”) that will house and fund transactions that could not be placed with existing companies within the group, a holding company was established in order to facilitate transactions and manage this rapidly expanding area of investment.
